GCSE & A-level

Studying

If you are looking to get a GCSE or A-level, you can sign up with us to prepare for the exams in either one or two years. Some GCSE curriculums can be studied in one year, (e.g. business studies). Some key subjects, such as maths have more extensive curriculums, so will normally be studied over 2 years, but we also offer intensive 1 year courses that require more hours per week.

Exams

If you are looking to get a GCSE or A-level, you can sign up with us to prepare for the exams in either one or two years. Your actual exam will be sat at an exam centre near you. As an online school, we do not offer you to sit your exams with us, as this would be impractical for you. Instead, you can sit at any exam centre all over the world. We can help you find one.

How many subjects should I take?

How many subjects you choose is up to you and depends on your goals. Most secondary school students do 8-10 GCSEs (most universities require 8 GCSEs). If you already know what you would like to study if you are planning to go, you can research universities offering your course. Maths, English and Science are usually the key subjects. We recommend a wide spread of different subjects.

At A-level, students normally choose 3, sometimes 4 subjects. These can be any subject you like. We normally recommend related subjects, or a wider spread range, if the student wants to keep their options open.

We have dedicated advisors to help you choose.
